Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service set forth the terms and conditions of use, procedures, rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Keepgoing Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") and users regarding the KARVIS service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:
① "Service" refers to the AI-based Korean language learning service provided by the Company.
② "User" refers to a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service provided by the Company.
③ "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company and can continuously receive information from the Company and use the Service.
④ "Content" refers to all forms of information provided within the Service, including text, voice, and images.
⑤ "Paid Member" refers to a member who subscribes to a paid plan provided by the Company and uses the Service by paying the specified fee.
⑥ "Free Member" refers to a member who uses the free Service provided by the Company without subscribing to a paid plan.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)
① These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service.
② The Company may modify these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws and regulations when necessary.
③ When the Company modifies the Terms, it shall post the effective date, modified content, and reason for modification in the notice section within the Service at least 7 days before the effective date.
④ If a user does not agree to the modified Terms, the user may discontinue the use of the Service and withdraw from membership.
Article 4 (Provision of Service)
① The Company provides the following services:
• AI-based Korean conversation practice service
• AI real-time call learning service
• Scheduled call learning service
• Learning records and feedback
• Other services determined by the Company
② The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance or other necessities.
③ The Company shall notify users in advance of any changes to the content, method, or hours of use of the Service.
④ Minors under the age of 18 require consent from a legal guardian to use paid services.
Article 5 (Membership Registration)
① Users may apply for membership registration by filling in the membership information according to the registration form prescribed by the Company and expressing their consent to these Terms.
② The Company shall register users as members unless they fall under any of the following:
• The applicant has previously lost membership qualification under these Terms
• The registration information contains false information, omissions, or errors
• Registration is deemed to significantly impair the Company's technical operations
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users shall not engage in the following activities:
① Misappropriation of others' information
② Actions that interfere with the operation of the Service provided by the Company
③ Actions that violate laws or these Terms or are contrary to public order and morals while using the Service
④ Actions that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the Company, others, or any other rights
⑤ Transmitting obscene or violent messages or other information contrary to public order and morals to the Service
⑥ Reproducing, distributing, or publishing information obtained through the Service without prior consent from the Company
⑦ Transmitting information that may interfere with the stable operation of the Service
⑧ Using the Service through automated scripts, bots, or similar means
⑨ Reselling or providing the Service to third parties for commercial purposes
Article 7 (Restriction and Suspension of Service Use)
① The Company may restrict or suspend the use of the Service in the following cases:
• Unavoidable circumstances due to maintenance or repair of service facilities
• When a telecommunications carrier specified in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services
• When normal service use is impaired due to national emergencies, power outages, service facility failures, or excessive service usage
• When a user violates these Terms
• When abnormal usage patterns that significantly interfere with normal service operation are detected
• Other force majeure circumstances
② The Company shall notify users without delay in case of service suspension under Paragraph 1.
③ The Company may impose restrictions on usage time or frequency for free services to ensure stable service operation.
Article 8 (Paid Services and Fees)
① The Company may provide some services for a fee.
② The types and fees of paid services can be found on the in-app purchase page.
③ Fees and plan details may be changed at the Company's discretion. Any changes will be announced in advance within the Service.
④ Payment for paid services is processed through app stores such as Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
⑤ Free members are provided with 5 minutes of AI call service per day.
Article 9 (Auto-Renewal and Cancellation)
① Paid services are automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period unless the user completes the cancellation process.
② Monthly plans are auto-renewed monthly, and annual plans are auto-renewed annually at the same rate.
③ To stop auto-renewal, users must complete the cancellation process through the settings of their app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription period.
④ After completing the cancellation process, users may continue to use the Service until the end of the already paid subscription period.
⑤ How to cancel:
• **iOS**: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > KARVIS > Cancel Subscription
• **Android**: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > KARVIS > Cancel Subscription
Article 10 (Refund Policy)
① Refunds for paid services are subject to the policies of each app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and applicable laws.
② If you wish to request a refund, please contact the respective app store directly.

③ Refunds may be restricted in the following cases:
• Refund requests made after substantial use of the paid service
• When service use is restricted due to a user's violation of these Terms
• Other cases where refunds are not permitted under app store policies and applicable laws
④ If the Service is not provided due to reasons attributable to the Company, such as system failures, the Company will refund the usage fee for the corresponding period on a pro-rata basis or extend the service period accordingly.
Article 11 (Changes to Service Content)
① The Company may change the content of the Service to improve service quality.
② Significant changes to the Service will be announced within the Service at least 30 days before the change.
③ The content of free services (usage time, frequency, etc.) may be changed without prior notice at the Company's discretion.
Article 12 (Intellectual Property Rights)
① All copyrights and other intellectual property rights to the content provided through the Service belong to the Company.
② Users shall not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it through reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or any other means without prior consent from the Company.
Article 13 (Disclaimer)
① The Company is exempt from liability for service provision if the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or similar circumstances.
② The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by reasons attributable to the user.
③ The Company is not responsible for any loss of expected profits or revenue through the use of the Service.
④ Due to the nature of AI services, the accuracy of provided information is not guaranteed 100%, and the Company is not liable for any damages resulting therefrom.
⑤ The Company is not responsible for disputes arising between users or between users and third parties.
Article 14 (Privacy Protection)
The Company strives to protect users' personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. The protection and use of personal information are governed by applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)
① If a dispute arises between the Company and a user regarding the use of the Service, both parties shall resolve it amicably through mutual consultation.
② If consultation fails, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
③ These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Seoul Central District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
